Our client in the Latham area, is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join their mission to exceed customer expectations and drive success for all.

Utilize commercial/industrial experience to maintain and repair building mechanical equipment such as boilers, burners, controls, chillers, air handlers, and piping systems.
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and efficiently address customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate reliability and honesty in all aspects of work, fostering trust and confidence among colleagues and clients.
Embrace a customer-focused approach, striving to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
Actively contribute to the growth and success of the team by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications of the Service Manager:
Knowledge of boilers, burners, mechanical room design, layout, and purpose.
Engineering background preferred, especially in commercial/industrial boilers and boiler room accessories.
Experience with boilers and commercial mechanical rooms, including identifying potential customers, generating targeted proposals, managing estimates, and servicing existing customers.
Ability to interpret and apply applicable codes and standards.
Highly organized with strong scheduling and logistics skills.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Computer literate, proficient with the Microsoft platform.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent technical and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and prioritize tasks effectively.
Comfortable multitasking and setting work priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $80,000 to $100,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
