Quality Analyst


Establishes, documents, manages, and maintains a tailored strategy quality plan in collaboration with the quality assurance manager, for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned project or task
Develops and maintains quality assurance documentation for projects and tasks to include quality metrics. Ensures documentation complies with software development standards, policies and procedures or best practices.
Conducts assessments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance to standards and applicable quality plans. Determines level of process and product quality. Develops written reports of findings; escalates unresolved issues to appropriate management levels.
Evaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings. Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties and implements solutions. Implements recommendations as approved.
Gathers, uses and analyzes defect metrics data. Presents analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written or a hoc reports.
Plans and designs complex test cases for validation of common and exception processing and user scenarios
Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.
Validates the application to verify that requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs.
Develops specifications to support these modifications or testing.
Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients or development teams to validate, clarify, and create testing requirements and explore potential scenarios.
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify intent of change' is carried through the entire project.
Provides time estimates for project related tasks.
Tests the application for conformance to requirements
Consolidates, documents, and publishes design or implementation details that are not documented in project document
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, mathematics, information systems or related field preferred.
Two or more years of quality assurance experience.
Experience working with technology industry and three tier architecture.
Experience working with quality metrics and software industry metric data collection and analysis techniques.
Experience working with software test science and tools.
Experience working with computer programming and database concepts and basic software language.
Experience working with quality assurance principles and practices and software development methodologies
Desired
Knowledge of WIC or other related public health domain.
Knowledge of SQL will be preferred.
Experience in previous public health or medical services domain is preferred but not required
Knowledge of TFS for software issue tracking and version control will be preferred but not required
Prior quality assurance experience of in a web based three-tier architecture will be preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
