ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a dynamic Quality Management Specialist I to join our team at our office in Latham, NY. The QM Specialist I will be responsible for participating in the planning, development implementation, monitoring and analysis of quality management processes and activities.
Position
Responsibilities:
Assists with the coordination and management of key aspects of both URAC and NCQA regulatory requirements.
Assists with audits and internal assessments to ensure compliance with contract requirements, corporate policies, quality management activities and accreditation standards.
Prepares written assessment reports, internal document tracking and executive summaries that describe programs, methods, barriers, results, operational strengths, interventions, opportunities for improvement and recommendations.
Provide ongoing support for accreditation survey preparation.
Monitor and analyze performance through data collection, tracking and analysis. Identify improvement opportunities and recommend quality improvement activities.
Position Requirements:
Education : Master's degree in one of the following related field preferred: QM, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Statistics or Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in one of the above fields or RN required.
Licensure : Nursing (RN), Social Work (LCSW) or CPHQ preferred
Relevant Work
Experience: Three (3) years of Utilization Management or Quality Management experience required; Behavioral health experience preferred.

Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Access)
Clinical Operations Systems
Data Management Systems
