ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a dynamic Supervisor Corporate Claims to join our team at our office in Latham, New York The Supervisor Corporate Claims provides supervision, training and technical support to claims processing staff, monitors and evaluates staff performance and offers feedback to management.
Position
Responsibilities:
Responsible for understanding and communicating client performance guarantees to staff.
Supervise, provide direction, and mentor assigned staff, providing feedback on performance and developing/implementing action plans for improvement.
Evaluate and control workflow within the team. Ensure processor assignments are appropriately aligned to ensure performance guarantees are met.
Develop and implement action plans for improvement.
Develop training programs to address specific individual and/or team needs.
Develop goals with staff and assist with the development and delivery of performance reviews.
Provide analysis and proposed solutions of benefit, system and claims adjudication issues to the Manager.
Identify best practices that will create more efficient processes.
Participate in implementation of new clients, represent department during both internal and external meetings and other special projects as assigned.
Contribute to a team environment by maintaining good interpersonal skills related to peers and management and demonstrate flexibility and support in meeting departmental goals.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Relevant Work
Experience: At least three years claims processing experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
PI91496231Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
